I cannot send our emails from my iMac or from my iPhone using ONETEL.COM. What is going on please and what are the current setting supposed to be?
The old incoming 143 and outgoing 25 with no SSL work, however, the whole point of migration onto the talkTalk platform was to give them a better more stable platform and increased security, but the settings suggested on the forum post migration do not appear to function.
Hi Hughmoz, you can use any of the settings in theemail settings help article. As you're with the CEO team you ought to take all your enquiries to your CEO complaint manager. We're really not supposed to interfere.
Thanks for setting although. they do not work on my iPhone or in Thunderbird as, outgoing mail cannot have SSl or 587 and I have to use 25 in both cases with security on "none."
In terms of the CEO's office handling anything, forget it. As I have already mentioned before any problem that I have Charles refers to that office (even if he gets someone to sort out a problem) and then I get a call from someone who is always hesitant and unsure so, I have no idea why they are contacting me as, the seem clueless about what it's about. I also did not realise until last week that Charles refers all problems to that office even if they are resolved by the specialist that he gets to contact me. It's a low level operation, somewhere sub-call centre. Unless TalkTalk are going to have a CEO's office that is effective it is not unreasonable for a customer to ask on the forum. At every stage TalkTalk avoid actually dealing with some issues which is not helpful. As a get-out saying, "The CEO's office is dealing with this " is a meaningless statement I"m afraid.
