Lastest billing scam

I have taken off the caller identity on my home phone. The next day I received a recorded call with an English voice, telling me my bill has not been paid and if I wanted to cancel the service press 2 or stay-on the line to be connected to the help desk. Its obvious a scam as the number that came up on my phone did not exist, when I called it back.


The last couple of days, I have been receiving emails saying I owe 4.50 and my log is to Talktalk has been lock until I speak to the help desk.


It is quite a sophisticated scam but the give away is the email address. At the end of he Email address is .JP.Jp is the country code for Japan. Yep you have it why would be receiving emails from Japan.


Please don’t get sucked into this .
