I was recently looking for something to watch and came across the Alienist on Netflix. Was not too sure about this one. The title is missleading, nothing to do with Aliens.

This is set in the year 1896 and is about a Doctor and his companions as they try to track down a brutal serial killer plaguing the city. Was I glad I started watching this, it was sooo good. I watched half the series in a single night. It was so compelling.

If you have a Netflix subscription, watch this, you won't be dissapointed.

Good recommendation Karl. I also thought this was really good. The title also put me off as I thought it was sc-fi related. Roll on season 2! emoticon.smileyface.title
