House move order cancelled

Message 6 of 6

Hi, I have just got an email saying that my house move order (placed about a month ago and supposed to happen this Friday) has been cancelled by another provider.

I don't understand what is going on, as I never asked for a cancellation, nor have I contacted another provider! Can anyone help please?

I had a feeling it could have been from the current occupiers, if they wanted to take their number with them, they have the authority to cancel any order placed on their line.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Apparently the sellers (who are leaving the house on the 29th) received notice of their line being disconnected and called to cancel the order.

I had to go through a new house move order and my new go live date is now the 12th, instead of the 3rd. I absolutely have no words.

Hi @Anonymous

I've checked the order and it is still progressing to go live on the 12th.

Is there a current provider in the home that you are moving too?

A bite of info of Forum:
The forum is not real-time 24/7 support, so depending on how busy they are & how many are working at any one time, this can take 24 - 48 hrs (excluding weekends & limited cover on Bank Holidays). Alternatively, you can call the call centre or use online chat. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first. So the fewer entries you make on your thread now, the sooner they will pick it up.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:- Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.
