How do I return old Talktalk routers I have at least 4 old talktalk routers.
2 smartax 882,1 DLink,and 1 Hauwei router.
Any help would be great otherwise they may end up being on ebay or at the tip.

Hi Simba:)

I've moved this topic into the customer service & billing section from the General section for you to see if OCE Emma can provide you with any advice on this.

Hi Simba,

There is no requirement to return any old routers.

Cheers

unfortunately I was told as I'm on fibre the only router that would work with the BTOR modem is the one supplied by TT or BT since i have found out otherwise apparently Netgear do a pretty reasonable one.

Hi Simba,

if you want to return the routers I can send you a returns bag, but as Em has said there is no need.

I'll just take them to the tip and have them disposed off that way.

Hi Simba,

There is no need to return them to us from the point of view of we want them back however the equipment needs to be disposed of correctly:

www.talktalk.co.uk/members/weee-directive.html

As such if your local tip/recycling depo is unable to process the modems, i would like to send you a returns bag for them to be sent back to TalkTalk for recycling.

The local tip has the facility to recycle all kinds of small electrical items.
