I have now sent numerous emails to the AWIN team, been told by a community team member that they will contact the team about the issue and still not received any communication, not even an acknowledgement, from anyone at TalkTalk.

If you want to improve your customer relations and not be seen as deceitful scammers who try to get out of honouring promises then you need to respond to communications and resolve issues instead of hoping that customers will get exasperated and give up. I will not and have contacted your head office, if the complaint is not dealt with I will then start a complaint with the Ombudsman.
