I like to check online shopping deals when shopping on the High Street. But I've seen security advice that says locations might track my movements if I leave wi-fi or Bluetooth switched on. What are the security risks of this type of tracking and what can I do about it?

It's true many shops and shopping centres use Blootooth & Wi Fi sensors to track mobile devices around. It doesn't pose a particular security risk (unless their wi-fi) gets hacked. It's more a question of privacy. If privacy is a concern then you should disable bluetooth and wi-fi but othwerwise should be ok
