Hi Guys,

Can I ask a quick question about the TalkTalk Sim.

My hubby has a Vodafone branded mobile phone and wanted to change his provider to TalkTalk. We were wondering if he would need his phone unlocked or if it would accept the Sim straightaway?

Also we would love to know what TalkTalk mobile is like? Is itokay to use? Would you recommend it and if not please explain why?

Thanks Claire x

Hi Claire,

The TalkTalk mobile Sim will work in a vodafone handset without the need to unlock it

Cheers

Hi Claire

I have had the TalkTalk mobile sim for about 3 months, and can highly recommend it.

It uses the Vodafone network, so coverage is good.

I got the half price deal with mine, so very economical (look out for a deal).

I was able to keep my same number and the changeover went smoothly.

Hope this helps.

Regards Neil

Thanks to you both for the information. We are going to get 3 sim deals. Does that mean that we can call and text for free within our family? Is that not using any inclusive minutes? Also when it states for calls is that for any network? Xx

Hi Claire

Calls & texts between your mobiles registered to taltalk as family members do not use up your minutes.

Calls means any UK numbers.

Hi Claire

Just to clarify family calls.

This means between TalkTalk mobiles in the same household, and from your TalkTalk Mobile to your TalkTalk home phone.
