Home Safe KIds Safe Turned On but not blocking content.

Hi

I have Home Safe turned ON but have noticed today, websites of all blocked categories are accessible i.e. porn, gambling, guns, the lot.

I have tried turning Kids Safe off and on and rebooted the router. Both failed to work.

With young children constantly online, I would like this resolving quickly please. Thanks.

I tested it earlier today and it was fixed. Checked just now and my two blocked sites were accessible. I changed the sites back to ALLOW and then BLOCK and its worked.

I have tested blocked sites and they are now not available so the issue for me is now fixed. Many thanks.

Hi all, some work was done last night to repair this. Please reboot your router and post back to let us know how you get on.

Any TT customers reading this should check if Homesafe is blocking their expected blocked content.

Looks like its a bigger issue and most customers don't realise it's there. I rang TT yesterday. The SLA is 5 working days from the day you first called.

Hi,

I have the same issue. Homesafe stopped working on Sunday. Tried to restart router, tried to re-enter websites which needs to be blocked but nothing helped. Hopefully TT will come back with solution soon.

I have tried an old talk talk router and the same issue is present (all content is available).

I have rebooted the router, retested but no change. I have added the landline to my profile.

I have the same problem which I first noticed yesterday.

I have a couple of sites blocked on kids safe but they are still accessible.

I have just tried blocking a specific site and after saving, the same URL is still accessible.

Hi, I am using the same router. However, I have just tried a factory reset and the issue is still present.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hi tommycatz, if you got and fitted a new router when you upgraded you'll have to factory reset the router. That should clear the fault. If you need help to factory reset please just shout.
