£4 TV Charge

I have never had & will never want any form of TV service from Talktalk.

I have never had & never will have a TV box of any description from Talktalk.

Why have I received an email about this subject when I don't have TT TV ?

The contents of the email are very ambiguous.

IF ANY CHARGE IS MADE FOR THIS SO CALLED 'SERVICE' I SHALL TERMINATE MY BROADBAND & PHONE CONTRACT WITH TALKTALK WHEN IT EXPIRES IN A FEW MONTHS. I have been a Tiscali /TT customer for a long time & have no complaints about the broadband/telephone service provided,

I was suddenly charged £2 a month for Anonymous Caller Reject, TT says they emailed me that this charge was to be imposed, no email was received. This charge was removed & refunded.

Sneeky sales tactics will not be tolerated by me.

If you would like the online support team to look into this for you make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk landline number are complete on your community profile here so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then give them a day or two to respond.

Hi jettalk

 

I can opt you out of the upcoming TV charge but I'll need to confirm some security details to access your account.  I'll send a PM separately with the info required.

 

Please note however that when you opt out of TalkTalk TV you will lose access to add and remove TV Boosts flexibly.  You will lose access to TV Boost on demand content via the TalkTalk player.  You will also lose access to TV on the go services via the web and Mobile App.

 

Also, any current recordings you have made from a Boost channel will stop working when you are no longer subscribed to that channel.
