Advice wanted for using Sky dish as TV aerial.

I have just left Sky for talktalk TV. I was told I could use my old sky dish as an aerial for the Freeview channels. I have connected the dish cables to the tv box but the box is telling me there is 0 TV aerial channels. Can anyone give me advice on where I might have gone wrong?

Thanks, Jen

Hi @JennB you can't use a Sky disc as an aerial for Freeview, you will need to get a conventional aerial if you wish to use Freeview.   However, you can use the Sky disc with Freesat  although you would need to buy a Freesat receiver.
