Apps crashing

I joined talk talk earlier this year and am pretty disappointed with the TV set top box I have been sent. My initial issue was that it didn’t record live tv like my previous standard box from BT. 
I am now having issues with apps either crashing constantly or not working! 
Netflix and prime video will randomly crash and boot me off returning to normal tv

britbox and all4 struggle to play anything. 
rapidly starting to lose my patience! Anyone any advice? The box is up to date and have tried the usual switching off/resetting etc

Hi thanks for the replies. No I wasn’t able to keep the bt box, it had to be returned. Yes I’ve tried factory reset and I still get the same issue. I have recently signed up to now tv aswell and that has issues playing content. Really losing the will to live with it as nothing seems to work

Hi,

 

Quick couple of questions.

 

Have you tried a factory reset from the settings menu? If not its worth trying.

 

Were you able to retain your BT YouView box or did you have to return it? If you still have it, it will function on the TalkTalk network and you will be able to record. It should pick up the TalkTalk skin, rather than the BT one.
