Our box has been freezing a lot, been non responsive to the remote control, (unless turning the box on or off), and not recorded any programs set to record. We have reset the box almost daily for weeks now, and watching TV has become a chore. Trying to catch up on ITV player or other means is incredibly difficult, as IF it let's us on, it freezes or turns off part way through and we have to go through it all again, with all of the adverts. We are getting very frustrated.

Have you tried a Youview Maintenance Reset on the box to see if this helps.

If you do a complete factory reset, you will lose previously recorded programmes. However, any new Talktalk TV box sent out won't have this facility at all.
