Broken remote

Hi

I have a broken remote, the batteries work fine, the led light flashes but nothing happens.

I have reset the set top box but am now stuck on a 'start set up' screen, no buttons on the set top box will get rid of the message and I can't use the remote to continue to the next steps.

 

I have tried getting help in the chat online section and have tried ringing talk talk, no one can help me, haven't had TV for months now and just want to cancel my contract now tbh

Hello,

 

We have a TV and TV remote which all work fine,

 

It is just the talk talk remote for the set top box that isn't working, I cannot control any of the features with this remote,

Does the remote control any functions of the TV, volume etc.

 

I'm trying to determine if this is an issue with the remote or could the TV box have failed and need replacing.

Can you get channels on your tv? If not, bypass the box and plug the aerial directly into the tv so you can view programmes.
