Can’t view BT Sport on talktalk box error BTP 15001

Is anybody out there actually able to access BT sport through their TalkTalk YouView box? I’ve had very similar issues to a few other people on here of being passed from pillar to post. Signed up with BT yesterday morning. BT sport still wasn’t available on youview. I phoned BT who said everything was fine at their end and should have been activated by Talk talk (BT sport app working) . I phoned talk talk technical support who were worse than useless. One told me they had no record of the subscription and a manager told me they had. I have been informed a network team manager will be in touch within 72 hours but I’m not holding out any hope of it being resolved by them. Anybody any ideas? Tried the usual resets and switching router off etc.

I have had this same problem, called BT they said that it was a talk talk problem, called talk talk they said it was a BT problem. i am furious! so should i just power it all off for 30 mins and then turn on?

If you start your own thread (new message), wed love to help.

 

Weve found that posting in someone elses conversation makes it harder to follow when looking for an answer.

 

Its easier and quicker if we can chat with you in a single thread, if you start your own thread, that will keep our community organised and help others with a similar problem.

 

Check your home phone number or account number are also added to your Community Profile as that will really help us to find your details quicker.

I have exactly the same problem : btp15001 on bt sport channels. The BT side is fine, I can watch on the bt sports app, just not through the talktalk tv channels. I've put my home phone in my private profile for cross reference. Thanks

Hi Karl. Just tried this and went to Btsport channel 408. Pressed ok and a different error code appeared. This time it is BTP-269 saying we are having trouble connecting to your BTTV subscription channel at the moment.

Hi

 

Can you power off all equipment, router ant TV box for 30 minutes.  Power on and retest.  If not working, please can you describe what happens when you select one of the BT sport channels from the guide.  Are there any on screen messages or errors etc.

If you would like the online support team to look into this for you make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk landline number are complete on your community profile here so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then give them a day or two to respond.
