Constant failed to record message

My TV box regularly fails to record, I have checked the aerial. the internet cable and the router, all is working fine. I thought it might be HD programmes but reset on a plus 1 channel and still it failed to record. I am now missing quite a number of new programmes and have no idea what to do. I also unplugged and started up the box again to no avail. I think I need a new box.

Hi devonroamer

 

we no longer provide a recordable box, so cannot replace the box with like for like.

 

Try a Youview Maintenance Reset  and see if this helps, and if still failing then the only option is to try the full factory reset from the settings menu.

@devonroamer, currently Talktalk does not issue boxes with the facility to record.
