I used to get 127 channels, now only 97

Anyone have any suggestions ? e.g. kids channel 203 gone, among others...

Hi

 

There are 2 types of channels, freeview channels over the air - ie. via your aerial, and Internet channels delivered over your broadband.  These channels are usually from 301 onwards and are mostly subscription channels, things like Sky sports or Sky movies etc.

 

If you have a look at the freeview website this will give you an idea of what channels you should get :

TV only gets 97 channels . Didn't know the box has separate internet channels.

Don't think they're hidden, as it only sees 97 channels on a scan. Done all the above except aerial check 😞

I'm sorry to hear this.

 

This usually happens when channels have been set to hidden. Press the Guide button on your remote, and then the yellow button to reveal all hidden channels by scrolling down the list. 

 

If the above doesn't help to locate the missing channels please complete all the checks below.

 

Missing channels checks

  1. Check your cables are connected with our connection guide
  2. Check the Digital UK website for any planned engineering works that may affect your services
  3. Retune your Box to scan for all available channels
  4. Check you have the latest TalkTalk TV Box software
  5. Restart your TalkTalk TV Box
  6. Reposition your aerial: If you've got an internal/external aerial it may have moved out of position or they may be a fault with it

@chartman  What are the type of channels ur are mssing like freeview or internet channels 301?????

 

Have u changed any boosts or do any changes on the setup

 

how long have u had the tv box and router
