IPC 6023

Yet another IPC 6023 error. AFAICT although there are many long-winded strands of forum topics relating to IPC 6023, this issue persists with many installations. Annoying because everything was working fine, the tv-box and router is ok, this is obviously an "upgrade" feature which has now crippled the TV Boost (Sky Cinema) package. It's impossible to email/talk to anyone, just get directed to service, who subsequently simply send a text message saying everything is ok. Will try to organise an Engineer's visit, because there doesn't seem to be any other choice.

Hi

 

Can you please add your home phone number or Account number to your Community Profile so I can locate your details.

 

If unsure of your phone number, simply dial 17070 from your land line phone and this will confirm the number for you.

 

Please post back on this thread when this has been done..

@hmbuy the staff can help but will take a few days to get help. email is no longer done for support for security reasons and talk is for a vulnerable while in c19

A bite of info of Forum:
The forum is not real-time 24/7 support, so depending on how busy they are & how many are working at any one time,(excluding weekends & limited cover on Bank Holidays).  The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first. So the fewer entries you make on your thread now, the sooner they will pick it up.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:- Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.
