Missing HD channels 101-106

I have had a Youview box since July 2015.  It lost the main HD channels a couple of years ago and would get stuck in retuning loop.  The TV tunes all the channels from the same Aerial.  Contact with TalkTalk technical 'support' was a total waste of the phone call time.

 

I have:

  • reconnected the aerial
  • retuned
  • reset to factory settings
  • updated software

numerous (perhaps around 30) times without success.

 

This is very frustrating.

Try unplugging the aerial from the box. Then retune. That will give you no channels, obviously, but should clear the tuner memory. Then reconnect the aerial and retune again. See if that helps.
