Much reduced volume on tv

Received new replacement youview box and set up correctly. Now only able to hear TV if volume turned up to nearly max 60, before I only turned volume up to 26. Recordings are even quieter. I believe there is a fault with the box as I never had this trouble with the old one. Can someone at talktalk advise or arrange for new box to be sent please?

As when you first got the remote, you will need to enter the relevant code for the TV.

Thanks Karl. Much better volume, need to have TV vol up to max and control vol through remote control via Youview box 0-100%. Problem now is that Remote won't turn TV on and off as it used to, so I have to use the old tv remote as well. How do I rectify this. Thanks.

Hi

Did you turn the volume up to 100% on the TV box ? 

On remote, 

Press 1 & 6 together for 3 seconds – Red LED turns on.

Enter code : 9 8 1

This resets remote to control YouView Box, turn the volume to 100%.
