New TV Box, freezing, switching off

Our new replacement box received this week keeps switching off. It lags constantly in response to the remote control. We are unable to replay a recording we thought we had made and the rewind facility seems to be unavailable.

The most inconvenient thing is having to reboot it every time you want to watch something.

Hi

Did you try a factory reset as advised, and did this help ?

Thanks

Karl.

Have you been lucky and sent a replacement recordable box, as TalkTalk now say they only supply non recordable boxes in exchange?

If not that may explain why you cant find recordings?

Whichever box you have, as you've no recordings, I'd do a factory reset to clear the box and ensure the integrity of the software.

If it still does not work, let us know and you are in the staff's queue for a response.
For a quicker reply can you please ensure you have your personal information up to date in your profile including your TalkTalk landline phone number so your account can be traced. Link here - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info
If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
Thank you
