Just received my new TT Box. The package says it’s compatible with my old box. How? I need access to the recordings on the old box, whilst being able to enjoy the new one. I want to avoid having to switch cables, plug in antennas to watch certain programmes, and finding that both boxes have recorded the same programme! (these are all things a previous ‘solution’ suggested would happen)

The new boxes usually don't record (DN360T) , they are purely view what's live and the on demand content.
TT have not supplied recording boxes since the beginning of the year. Please advise the model that you have received.
As @ferguson said, to purely watch your recordings from the old box you only need a spare HDMI input on your TV. I have bought an HDMI splitter and an aerial splitter for mine so that I can also record the FREEVIEW channels to the old box.

recordings cannot be transferred between boxex and you will have to watch the recordings on the old box.
