Opt out to TV (yep another one)

Hi, could you please opt me out if the £4 charge for talk talk TV, thanks.

 

If TV is not part of our main contracts shouldn't we be able to opt out through our accounts? I appreciate it hasn't started yet but it's a bit late to opt out after you've been charged.

 

Also when I last renewed my contract on the phone, I've since renewed online, I stated that I didn't want the TV box or TV service because I'm in a Freeview light area & was told I had to have it as it was part of the package, but now it"s just an add on. Strange.

 

Anyhow your anticipated help is appreciated.

Hi

 

I can opt you out of the upcoming TV charge but I'll need to confirm some security details to access your account.  I'll send a PM separately with the info required.

 

Please note however that when you opt out of TalkTalk TV you will lose access to add and remove TV Boosts flexibly.  You will lose access to TV Boost on demand content via the TalkTalk player.  You will also lose access to TV on the go services via the web and Mobile App.

 

Also, any current recordings you have made from a Boost channel will stop working when you are no longer subscribed to that channel.
