Removing new TV Charge

So I have a question..

If I opt to drop the new £4 a month TV Charge can I still use my existing box to record and playback programmes using the box?

There is reference to Pause and Rewind Live TV with the package. Will that stop?

I don't use any of the boosts or premium channels, just Freeview to record and watch later, sometimes pause TV and On Demand Apps (although I also have them on my TV anyway)

Thanks.

Hi

I can opt you out of the upcoming TV charge but I'll need to confirm some security details to access your account.  I'll send a PM (Personal Message) separately with the info required.

Please note however that when you opt out of TalkTalk TV you will lose access to add and remove TV Boosts flexibly.  You will lose access to TV Boost on demand content via the TalkTalk player.  You will also lose access to TV on the go services via the web and Mobile App.

Also, any current recordings you have made from a Boost channel will stop working when you are no longer subscribed to that channel.

Opting out will also remove any current active TV Boosts.

Thanks

Karl.

Hi @electroglidekid

As John advises, the record / playback feature will still work for Freeview TV.

also, the non TalkTalk on demand players such as BBC Iplayer will all function as normal.

Thanks

Karl.

Yes, if you opt to drop the new £4 a month TV Charge can you still use your existing box to record and playback programmes.

Pause and Rewind Live TV will continue to function as they do now if you drop the £4 charge.
