Series record not available on some channels

When pressing the record button from the 'guide', I usually get the option to record episode only or record the series. However, certain channels don't seem to gove the option for 'series record'. For example with the Yesterday channel, I never seem to get the option for 'series record'. Anyone experienced anything similar or have any solutions?

There are no solutions to this that TalkTalk can help with.

 

It depends upon how the code for recording programmes is completed by the channel concerned or the company they use to do this. Series are often given a unique id for them to be grouped, others not.

 

You would be better contacting Yesterday and asking them why on Freeview / YouView the series has not been linked to enable recording.
