My box fails to record ,will not connect to catch-up, also will not play anything that was recorded prior to the afore mentioned fails. what can be done to resolve these problems? Having been a customer since the start of talktalk this is only my second box failure. should I consider moving or purchasing my own youview box. your advise please

Try a Youview Maintenance Reset and see if this helps.
