TV Box, turns off, freezes, closes apps unexpectedly...

Hello,

Over the last weeks the TV box has begun to randomly switch off. 

If watching an app, eg iPlayer, it will sometimes freeze [not buffer] or closes unexpectedly.

I have also noticed the lights have also stopped working on the front.

I have followed the online help instructions to maintenance reset etc. [keeping recordings] but hasn't helped...

When it happens I have to turn off the box and on again, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day!.

when app closes, or freezes, you cannot access the TV box, with controls, it has to be switched off and on again.

If you start your own thread (new message), wed love to help.

 

Weve found that posting in someone elses conversation makes it harder to follow when looking for an answer.

 

Its easier and quicker if we can chat with you in a single thread, if you start your own thread, that will keep our community organised and help others with a similar problem.
