TV Plus Box pausing on recorded playback

While watching a recorded program it will pause playback for about 5 seconds at a random points during the recording!

 

we have done a full factory reset twice now, ( my wife not happy with losing recordings)
but the problem still exists.

We can only issue the Lite (non recording) box,  Please let me know what you decide.

Not too sure what my Wife is going to say about that.. 
we signed up for Talktalk TV Plus box  - she really needs her tv box to record. ;-( - most of her channels dont have catchup
The box is only about 1.5 years old.  and really shouldn't be failing or not be repaired or replace like for like

If the box is starting to fail, we can issue a new box however TalkTalk stopped providing a recording box nearly a year ago.

 

We can now only offer the lite box.  Let me know if you would like me to send this.
