When I turn the TV on via the talk talk box there is a message on the screen saying check the tv aeriel and signal but when I plug the aeriel directly into the tv it works fine. Anyone know the solution? Is the tv box broken?

Remove the aerial from the YouView Box and retune. Connect the aerial back to the Youview box and retune again?
Check the TV is on the correct HDMI channel so you can see the youview menus, then check the TV channels and see if they show correctly.
