TalkTalk TV startup error 501; Huawei DP360T.01.01.P

Hi there, we have a DNT360.01.01.P TalkTalk TV box (Huawei) and when we try and turn it on, we get the following message "Startup error 501"; and the box then takes you into maintenance mode, before going into a subset menu of 4 options, when OK is pressed.

 

We tried option 1, *recommended, software reset and the same error occurred after several screen refreshes.

 

I then tried option 3, Internet software reset, and failed also.

 

Then we tried option 2, factory reset, to which we get an error "Broadband connection unavailable".  Auto connect does nothing, and I don't have the relevant network settings to setup the manual connection (I used to work in Network support/management)

 

Additionally, we have had error YVM102 for approximately 18-24 months, and I think that the PLA's have blown as we have had a replacement router already, which hasn't fixed the problem.

 

NB My laptop is working on the I/net, I'm using it now, as is my phone connecting to the Wifi too.  It's just the TV Box...

Can you please add your home phone number or Account number to your Community Profile so I can locate your details.

 

If unsure of your phone number, simply dial 17070 from your land line phone and this will confirm the number for you.

 

Please post back on this thread when this has been done..
