My YouView box keeps scrolling through channels regardless of me pushing any button on the remote.
i have looked through previous topics and done the following troubleshooting;
Remote Reset (Digits 6,9 then code)
Power off and on the box both button on the back and from the wall
I can’t maintanance reset because it scrolls to the bottom (Exit and Restart) so I am unable to do this.
i have changed the batteries to out of the packet new ones
i have also removed all other controller batteries and controllers from the same room
im stumped please help

Maintenance reset :
Turn the box off, then unplug power lead for a couple of minutes.
Re plug in power .
You will then need to reset your personal settings (such as parental controls / RF loop through / Surround Sound etc.) and also reset your scheduled recordings (might be worth taking a note of future recordings before doing this so you don’t miss any).
It is also a good idea to restart your router once you have done this.

Have you tried disconnecting box from mains and whilst unplugged, turn the button at the back on and off a couple of times. Leave unplugged for about 20 mins then plug in and restart box.
Are you saying that the buttons on the box will not allow you to negotiate the maintenance reset options as these should work independantly in this mode?
