Talktalk TVbox - router connection

Hi, I hope that someone can help. 

My talk talk TVBox was recently delivered and I am trying to set it up. Unfortunately, once it connects to the router it then will not connect to the internet.  Either via automatic option or if i add in the manual IP Address subnet mask default gateway primary and secondary ~DNS information.  My internet works fine as my router connects to my PC and other devices, so its not a router issue.  All the wires are connected properly and i have turned everything on and off again about 20 times now. 

What do i do?

I'm sorry to hear this.

Is the TV box connected directly to the router or are you using powerline adapters?
