Over the last few years I've had to chat to talktalk about the unreliability of Talktalk Tv in that :
1) The TV Guide often does not show any of the previous 7 days programs
2) Often I cannot access apps such as iplayer etc
In the past I have worked through the issue on the phone with Talktalk tech people and sometimes the problem is solved but returns again later on. I've also had to spend many hours on the phone until I give up as I need to be elsewhere.
I also use an Amazon Firestick which works very well on the same TV (using wifi as opposed to a power adapter for talktalk).
I'm almost at the end of my patience with talktalk as the £4 per month TV rental is proving to be a waste of money. Can anyone suggest a solution rather than me cancel the TV package

Check the powerline adapters are direct into wall sockets and all lights are green.
Try swapping the adapters around or trying other plug sockets as some may work better than others.
