How do I connect things up so I can use the youview box and use smart tv? I know I should just use the source button, but i must have set up of cables wrong as smart tv not getting signal on its own.
I am using a TT WiFi extender too, so i have yellow Ethernet cable plugged into that and box, aerial plugged into box too. Really I just want to use Smart tv for YouTube viewing. What am I doing wrong?

Hi have u tried contacting Samsung tv company to see what they say would work or if u TV needs a update on it
SO ur tv can not find ur wifi whats the signal like in the room on a phone or tablet??
What make and model do u have for ur TV??
and what fre55die says it helpful.
Be fore u had talktalk TV how did the TV connect to the router for internet
What i think Fre55ide is saying u could have one of the following pluged into the talktalk powerline by ur box& tv then have a network cable going to the tv box and another going to the tv.
or u could get a tp link kit which has 2 eithnet cable sockets like this
a friend of mine has a bigger set of these
I use to tp link as i found using a extinction lead with talktalk basic kit for poerwlines worked ok but could not plug into the wall
So i have tp link which has a front cover plug and work fine

I've not tried this route as I prefer hard wiring where possible. As I said, I use the switches and some things are on long ethernet cables. The switches are tiny (9.4 x 10.1 X 2.9 CM) so will fit anywhere.
I notice that this uses USB so I can't see how they would work on a TV 26% of customers say it is useless which is pretty high.

These then also give internet to my NOW TV box and Bluray player as I find hard wired far more reliable and solid than Wi-fi connections.

Thanks, I'll take a look, but I can't use a cable as tv is too far from hub. A web post suggested one of these. Might give it a try. Thanks.

Yes, a Talk talk WiFi extender. I realise there is no internet to tv as not connected via cable. Tried to turn on WiFi but says it's unavailable. Must not be WiFi enabled. Saw online I could get a Samsung Lan adapter, do you know what that is?

Have you set up the WI-FI on the TV as it will need an internet connection for the SMART functions on it to work. I am assuming that you do mean a WI-FI extender not just a standard Power Line Adapter.
