We recently renewed our contract and at the same time reported faults on our youview box. We reported that it was very slow to react to commands from the eremote control (new batteries were installed), the picture freezes and pixilates when playing back recordings. The advice from the maintenance team was to put it back to factory settings which we did. Now it is worse

1 Very slow to respond to commands from remote control

2 When pausing a live program and restarting it the playback pixilated, stutters and freezes.

3 Watching a recorded program the picture does all of the above only worse

4 When setting it to record a program it records it on all channels and plus 1

We spent one and a half hour on the phone with an  lady who didn't understand what we were trying to say and who we couldn't understand . Any advice would be gratefully received

Hi Karl, 

I have added our home phone number to my profile. Yes we put it back to full factory settings including removal of all recording as advised by the maintenance team, since then it is even worse,

When you mention resetting, was this the full factory reset from the settings menu ?

 

Can you add your home phone number to your Community Profile.
