£4 charge cancellation

Reading through the (many) responses to people asking to be opted out, most of them seem to say that access to TV service & Boosts will be cancelled upon opt out.


I have a chat transcript which I can attach if required which confirms that I will not be charged the £4 fee, but I will still keep access to my Boosts.


Please confirm this is this case.


I have to say that as a new customer it is bizzarre that a) TalkTalk think they can charge a fee for freeview and b) there is absolutely no communication plan to justify the charge....very strange!

If you have an individual agreement made with the agent then this will stand.


The TV Charge encompasses all of TalkTalk TV Services and is not a charge for freeview etc.
