Wonder if someone here can shed any light
I have a new Talktalk tv box with a new Skysports sub it went live on the 8th August and have not been able to access the skysports
If I try to go into the Talktalk player it asks me to input my name and last four digits of my account number, I input them and all I get is " Sorry the information does not match our records. please try again "
Its been like that for days now
I contacted support days ago to try and get it sorted and they said there was a nationwide outage which I now know to be untrue as this is sporadic at best
Not happy and thinking of just pulling the plug on the whole thing.
@Crazylegsdude I don't understand why your thread has somehow slipped through the net. I have flagged it up again for you, hopefully one of the team will pick it up early next week.
Been over 2 weeks now since I first reported
I have also been a regular poster on the TT skysports boost thread too
I know this is reported as a TV issue, and that's what threw me, I've been through all your TV settings here and all is ok. I've actually found this is caused by a different issue, I'm showing a miss match in the authentication details hitting our radius platform.
I've raised this to our system engineers for a radius rebuild and we can retest after that is done.
When do you think we can retest Karl!
I will run a reboot of the box later if you wish
Ok have rebooted and I now have the channels and Talktalk player now works..
There is a problem with the Skysports Arena channel though, its very blocky with massive pixelation on screen, the other skysports channels are all fine though
Glad to hear the channels are back now.
That is a strange one just for that one channel.
Try manually setting the network connection on the YouView box, in the Settings Menu go to Network & Internet, toggle to Manual and then use the following:
IP address 192.168.1.100
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 192.168.1.1
DNS 22.214.171.124 / 126.96.36.199
Put those settings in Karl
Still the same problem though with that one channel?
