I am experiencing exactly the same symptoms with my box as "Archaeoali " describes, my box is
6yrs old i have been onto help lines 3 times and they want to go through the same reset procedure etc,which works for a short time and then fault reoccurs. Can someone out there authorize a new box for me. thanks

May I just comment that Talktalk need to look at the way they deal with complaints such as mine,
I feel the Helpline should be able to escalate these ,so a replacement can be authorized rather
than having to sign up to contact yourself and others. it was just frustrating.
