Okay-we've pretty much always had these issues and they've never been rectified. It was supposed to be sent to TV a while back when I had a problem with something else but never mind..
The remote constantly stops working with the box(really annoying). Only realise when you need it and the only fix is to reboot the box
Secondly, the box like to randomly restart itself intermittently?
Have you tried a Youview Maintenance Reset
Please note any future scheduled recordings will be lost and will have to be rescheduled.
If this does not resolve then the next option is a full factory reset from the youview menus but this will erase the hard drive.
We literally tried everything and I think-if I remember correctly-this was a replacement box but the issues remain
