Huawei youview tv box problems

This must be the 5th time that I've reported this one way or another, but here goes again.

Since the update last year my TV box has been sluggish and slow. A simple action like selecting the tv guide takes at least 1 minute to open. This is the same for all actions. TV guide, opening players or info, everything.

Obviously I perform all tthe usual actions, on/off switch at the back, resetting etc, but it's getting beyond a joke now.


Just wish TalkTalk had left well alone, as it was working perfectly fine before the update.

Try a Youview Maintenance Reset (Option 4: Keep Recordings).

Please note any future scheduled recordings will be lost and will have to be rescheduled.


Set the box back up and see if performance improves.
