Whist this advice was initially given about a specific weather incident the advice below (in bold) is relevant to atmospheric changes in general.
Advice from the YouView website on atmospheric issues from today.
We have been informed of a high pressure system working it's way over to the UK and should reach here in the early hours of Sunday morning. This high atmospheric pressure is currently predicted to last until Wednesday (22/01).
High pressure weather conditions can cause picture break up or loss of channels for some viewers across the UK along with YVM302 error messages on YouView devices.
If you are affected by this, please don't retune your box until the high pressure system has passed, as this can sometimes make the problem worse.
Please note that in the current situation there will inevitably be delays in responding to you, due to the closure of customers service centres. To save everyone's time ONLY POST BACK ON YOUR ORIGINAL THREAD.
