My TalkTalk TV+ Box won't restart

I have tried going into maintenance mode and gone through each of the options finishing with a full restore to factory settings. However each time the box gets to the point where it is seeking a broadband connection but cannot see the internet. Since I am sending this from my Internet connection, clearly this is incorrect. I have connected a laptop via the same cable to the same socket on the router and proved that it works. I can see that the TalkTalk box acquires an IP address and the gateway settings and yet it still cannot connect.

Is it possible to have a replacement sent?

Can you please add your home phone number or Account number to your Community Profile. 

 

We will not attempt to call you, this is so we can locate your account and run tests on your line if required. We will then reply via this Community.

 

If unsure of your phone number, and if your line is working simply dial 17070 from your land line phone and this will confirm the number for you. Alternatively these details can be found within My Account online or may be on the heading of any paperwork you have received.

 

Please post back on this thread when this has been done..

A replacement box can be supplied if the contract is renewed.  As you are currently out of contract, if you go to My Account, you can renew online, or by calling our teams directly.
