Set youview as primary box

I've tried contacting talk talk quite a few times my youview box won't work I have got another one but needs switching to primary box please would you be able to tell me how to do this or do this for me thanks

Hi @Xdemix 

 

Just agree that you want to set the box as primary box and then agree to it setting up your boost channels when you select one of the channels.

Already done this and still nothing I have tried everything apart from been able to speak to talk talk see if anything they can do I have been without my channels for about a month now it's driving me crazy they must be some other way of changing it to primary box

What happens if you select 301 from the EPG?

Nothing just a black screen on 301 doesn't come up with anything if I try watching a film I've bought or sky on demand it comes up with error I have kids entertainment and sports bundles

I have escalated this to OCE support and they will respond on here A.S.A.P.

 

Please do not add anything on here OR start a new thread until an OCE responds as the system will see this as a new post and move you to the back of the queue.

Hi

 

I've removed the registered TV Boxes from the system.

 

On the box you want to be primary, go to MORETV first, select some boost on demand content, then go to one of the channels and retest.

Hi when I try sky one on demand says there's an error they have logged the issue and now it won't let me actually click on the sky one or any other subscription channel I have seen other posts on here where they have took the Identity number of box and set it up that way are you able to do this it's not that I'm also paying for something I can't watch with no way of ringing talk talk to get a new box sent out

The broadband connection was having issues, the speed was a little low at 4mb and the downstream noise margin was quite high, so this was not helping. 

 

i've made some changes to the broadband side of things, reboot the TV Boxes and try these again.

Tried this just getting a black screen on any subscription channels is there anything else I can do really need it sorting

Is this on both boxes ?

 

Try a  Youview Maintenance Reset (Option 2: Keep Recordings).

Please note any future scheduled recordings will be lost and will have to be rescheduled.

 

set the box back up  so it will register then try again and tell me what happens with the channel, what error number etc.
