I have just purchased the Sky Cinema Boost, all went well but when watching certain channels in 500+ I am asked to enter my pin code to continue watching, I have been on to tech services and they say that is right for the type of box that I have (have had this a few years now), is this correct as I find it very frustraing to have to do this every time I want to watch certain sky cinema films.

Hi @theresa

It's a requirement under the OFCOM rules that if Sky Cinema shows a non family film before the 9pm 'watershed' then they have to PIN protect.

I know it's frustrating to have to do this. If you view rated films after 9pm then you'll not be asked for the PIN.

Hi Gondola, thank you for the quick response and will carry on using the pin in future, if it had been explained to me more clearly on "chat" all would have fallen into place much more quickly.

Many thanks once again Theresa xx
