TalkTalk TV box sound issues.

Dear All

 

I have been a TalkTalk tv customer for a while now and my tv box has now seemed to have developed an issue.

When watching a program the sound cuts out for a second then comes back for around 45 seconds and the cuts out for a second, it then keeps doing this in a constant loop.

If I turn the box off completely by the button on the back and reboot it will be fine for around a day and then starts again.

Once this starts it does it on all channels including subscription channels and recordings.

I have tried a brand new hdmi lead and it still does this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's now becoming a bit frustrating having to constantly reboot my box.

Hi

 

Can you try a Youview Maintenance Reset (Option 2: Keep Recordings).

Please note any future scheduled recordings will be lost and will have to be rescheduled.

 

Set the box back up and see if the sound issue keeps happening.

I have tried the reset and I'm afraid it has made no difference, I am still having this sound issue constantly.

Only option is to swap out the box and see if this cures it.  I'll get this out to you.
