Hi OCE & Others

 

i have noticed that i have found the following out on the talktalk player

 

i have seen 2 new programs shown on their but it pops up with a message when i click on them

 

i know that someone else has reported the same on a movie side same message

 

why show something when u can not access it ????

 

IT DOES IT ON ONE SHOWN IN BLUE AND THE ONE TO THE LEFT OF IT

Any reason why this is happening as if new and stay why not put more info like a date when u can watch it.

Hi

 

This is a recent change so I will have to look into this.  I know the teams are currently reviewing content and more specifically looking at the current error messages to mke them more descriptive.

 

It's not unusual for on demand place holders to appear, BBC Iplayer will often show a place holder for an episode, but you cannot view it until the show has aired.

 

I do agree though, that a little more info would be helpful, or possibly some form of 'coming soon' message etc.

I've been able to recreate this issue on some movies also, and this should not be happening.  The TV team have raised this to our platform vendor for investigation.

@OCE_Karl  the 2 programs that have the message now arer working to play and are now at top of the channel list instead of the bottom.

 

will keep a eye out for other like this

@OCE_Karl  the watch list does not show any new episode as I have found out via checking out on talktalk player directly as the watch only shows one episode.

 

Seems to be a big issue???
