My youview box is connected via lan & keeps losing ilthe internet connection every 3 or 4 days. When I check the router status all shows ok. Rebooting router & the box reconnects, pain in the proverbial to keep rebooting. Any ideas?

Hi @g1yij

Just to confirm, your box is connected DIRECTLY to the router with an Ethernet cable NOT Power Line Adaptors.

Hi

Have you swapped the ethernet cable or tried another port on the back of the router ?

Thanks

Karl.

I have tried different ports, no difference, cannot try another cable as it is installed in house a fair way from router. Had no issues for the past couple of years with the cable. It does reconnect itself after I reboot but this means a trip upstairs & down again every few days.

Hi

Can you please add your home phone number or Account number to your Community Profile so I can locate your details.

If unsure of your phone number, simply dial 17070 from your land line phone and this will confirm the number for you.

Please post back on this thread when this has been done..

Thanks

Karl.

My number is on my profile. Over the last few days I have been checking if my cctv system also loses connection, it does. The tv box & cctv system are the only things I have connected via lan, when I lose tv connection I also lose my cctv.

Hi

I'll get a different model router out to you and we can see if this behaves any better.

Thanks
