View box not connecting to the internet

I am using an adaptor which has no lights coming on. I tried to reset my box to factory status I received a message saying 'no internet connection' now it has blocked my tv. I reported this about two weeks ago they said it was the ethereal cable I have replaced it and still nothing. PLEASE HELP
