Amazon echo dot code failure

Hi, just received the email with the promotional code for the amazon echo dot and smart plug. Everytime i get to the part to add the promo code its says the code is invalid. Any help would be much appreciated

If you start your own thread (new message), wed love to help.

 

Weve found that posting in someone elses conversation makes it harder to follow when looking for an answer.

 

Its easier and quicker if we can chat with you in a single thread, if you start your own thread, that will keep our community organised and help others with a similar problem.

 

Check your home phone number or account number are also added to your Community Profile as that will really help us to find your details quicker.

While I'm chasing a reply, Can you also ensure that you are selecting the product supplied by Amazon, sometimes the link points you to a slightly cheaper option supplied by a 3rd party.

Hi Karl, yeah we are using the link that was sent through on the email and copied and pasted the code from the email. Just got the same error message over and over again

Also, when entering the code, check that there are no spaces before or after the code.  Once this is confirmed, if not working, I'll escalate this for you.
