Settings for POP3 SMTP when using 3 mobile

Despite extensive searching I've not been able to find smtp settings when connecting to onetel servers via a 3 mobile router.

  I can receive e mails fine obviously, but can't send.


Anyone here a user of this happen to have a

clue as to settings that'll work?


Assistance appreciated; 3's website, disappointingly of zero use on this!

The important thing is that you should be able to access your onetel mail messages via any supported device.


Are you still a TalkTalk Consumer customer for home broadband or are you going to subscribe to MailPlus? About TalkTalk Mail Plus

Other forums were saying you must use 3's SMTP settings, but it don't work!

Hi Geluk 


Here are the settings to use.


Account Type  POP3
Password Yes
Incoming host name
Incoming Port 995
Incoming Security Use SSL
Outgoing host name
Outgoing Port 587
Outgoing Security Use SSL (Use StartTLS if available on the app)
Authentication method Password


Remember that the Username is the full onetel email address.


Let us know if Mail is now working ok. If asked to accept a certificate the response is Yes / Accept.
